Cryptid Hunter: Hands of Ill Fates Booster Deck $5

Who will get the advantage? The hunter or the hunted? Which one will you be? This is our first booster set for our signature game line, Cryptid Hunter: The Elusive Card Game.

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT: Approximately half of the cards enhance the environment, causing another layer of difficulty for each player. The other half give random enhancements to specific types of cryptids for the duration of the game. This unlocked mechanic is referred to as the File Categories.

HOW TO USE IT: Shuffle the booster deck at the beginning of each game. Randomly draw one. If a File Category card is drawn, this effect is in play for the duration of the game for all cryptids of that category (flying, freshwater, flying, etc.). If a situation card is drawn, roll one 6-sided dice, and place it on the card where it may be seen for the duration of that game. The number rolled will correspond with a unique environmental detail which will be in play for all players for the duration of the game. If players are VERY BOLD, they may opt to draw two Hand of Ill Fate cards at the beginning of the game. Good luck, suicide squad!
